Di’s Story

Aged 59, Coventry, UK

The big decision came when I smashed my ankle and gained screws and metal rods. I have been very reticent with diets because in the past after a while I’ve ended up heavier than when I started. Never the less I knew my task of bumming up the stairs would be easier with less body to lift. Thus my total engagement with the In-Sync Diet.

The food aspect of being In-Sync turned out to be so much easier than I expected – eating two wholesome meals is just a very sustainable way of living

The program also introduced proper exercise and exercise before eating.  The suggestions for things like the 7 minute workout proved really useful and I never struggled to do exercise prior to eating, I found a trip to the gym on my way home suited me.

Following the In-Sync program has been life changing- I lost 30kg and feel a good 10 years younger.

It took a lot longer than I expected for the smart scale measurements to change significantly, the weight fell off and fat percentage went down a little, at least the muscle readings didn’t drop and the water went up slowly- the significant improvement in more muscle, more water, better bone all came as I continued being In-Sync once my weight plateaued.  This is most certainly a lifestyle change not just eating.

I am astounded! I’ve never followed a diet where loss is so consistent!.

Having been with the In-Sync program from the early days I’ve been encouraged to see how the findings and new ways of thinking Fleur was proposing have made their way onto many TV programs and into main stream advice.

I’d recommend the In-sync way to everyone.

Clive’s Story

Aged 52, London, UK

I had noticed the clothes getting tighter but chose to ignore it as my food intake and exercise had remained steady.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been about 14st (89kg/196 pounds). I’m in the RAF so the need to be able to still get into an unifom tailored for a fit 18 year old in 1982 has dictated a regime of regular exercise and appropriate diet.

In May ‘15, I had an event which required me to wear an uniform that I had not worn for almost a year. When I went to put it on, about 30 minutes before I was due to leave home, it suffered a small failure. In the aftermath, I weighed myself to find that my weight had ballooned to around 15st 5lbs (98kg/217 pounds). Yes, I had noticed the clothes getting tighter but chose to ignore it as my food intake and exercise had remained steady.

However, through rugby and Thanksgiving and Christmas etc my alcohol intake had increased. I saw an article on In-Sync and got the book and haven’t looked back. Despite my target being to get back to 14 st, I’m now holding at around 13 st (82.5kg/182 pounds) to 13.5 st (86kg/189 pounds) and have never felt better.

My wife and I have long periods on maintenance without significant increases in weight and we know that if we do return to the full programme then we can quickly attain our targets.

Debbie’s Story

Aged 45, Bristol, UK

Firstly I was really annoyed with the low fat/ low cal diets that are so popular. I’d done them, but could never understand why they allow you to put so much junk into your body; as long as the point/syn/whatever factor was low then shovel it in!!! With In-Sync there is a refreshing purity about how you treat your body and that’s why I initially tried it 2 years ago.

It’s very easy to follow. I had been concerned about fitting around random work shift patterns but everything soon falls into place and you work out what works for you!

I followed the 8 week plan to the letter and the weight and inch loss was astonishing, but with it also came an energy I’d been lacking for so long. The food is delicious and FB site a real source of inspiration, knowledge and support. The nutrition/science info provided by Fleur is so interesting and Glynis’ yoga DVD really helped me get gently back into exercise. And the nice thing about the exercise is choosing what you enjoy and can afford to do. For me it’s yoga and walking. Simple and free. If you fall off the wagon, you can hop back on especially with the support online.

In-Sync helped me find my inner mojo again!! Inspirational X

Joanna’s Story

Food is delicious and I get a lot of inspiration from the In-Sync FB page where I met fantastic people.

I started the In-Sync diet in September 2016, after my holidays when I felt very bad due to back pain caused by my weight. First I read about it out of curiosity, but it sounded rational to me so I decided to try it. It was surprisingly easy from the very beginning – even the two day cleanse went very well.

Very soon I started eating only two meals a day and I noticed I wasn’t hungry at all. I was able to go for a long morning walk 15 hours after the previous meal and didn’t experience any unpleasant symptoms like dizziness or exhaustion.

What’s interesting, when I happen to eat carbs at parties or business lunches I get hungry immediately afterwards! Now I eat two or sometimes three meals a day, depending on my daily schedule (I travel a lot) and it still works for me. Food is delicious and I get a lot of inspiration from the In-Sync FB page where I met fantastic people.

I have much more energy and a lot of satisfaction because with In-Sync’s help I took matters into my own hands with such good results – I have gone from size XXL to L, sometimes M!

Still a long way to go for me but I must say the day I could put on a t-shirt that had been waiting in my wardrobe for more than three years, was one of the most satisfactory in my life.
